Free Shopify tracking checker
Enter your store's address and the checker opens it in a real browser, the way a shopper would: a product page, add to cart, then the start of checkout. It shows which of those steps reached Google Analytics. No account, no card, and it never places an order.

What the checker looks at
- Product view (
view_item): does opening a product send an event? - Add to cart (
add_to_cart): does adding it send one? - Checkout start (
begin_checkout): does reaching checkout send one?
Each step gets one of three answers: seen, not seen after the step ran, or unknown when the step could not be run. Unknown is never reported as a fault.
What it cannot see
Because it places no order, it cannot see the purchase itself or your Thank you page, and a server-side setup that sends from a server is not visible to a browser. Those are checked by the full audit, which compares each Shopify order with the purchases GA4 recorded. How purchases are checked.
